Timing

Most workers travel first, start their job, settle into accommodation and then apply for their family. This is usually faster and cheaper than everyone travelling at once, and it gives you time to arrange suitable housing.

Costs

Each family member has their own government application fees, biometrics and, where required, medical exams. Flights and accommodation for the family are not covered by the employer.
