Requirements depend on the job category. For most entry-level positions they are minimal — a valid passport and the willingness to work. Specialised roles ask for more.

Most employers hire candidates between 18 and 55 years old, and some accept older candidates for lighter roles.
Experience
No previous experience is required for warehouse, food processing, meat processing, seafood and most agricultural jobs. Training is provided by the employer during the first weeks.
Professional drivers need a valid licence and documented experience. Skilled trades (welding, mechanics, insulation) require proof of qualification or verifiable work history.
Language
English is not required for most entry-level positions; instructions are given visually and many teams are multilingual. Basic English helps in daily life and is usually expected for driver and trade positions.
Money for relocation
You should plan for personal costs such as biometrics, medical exam, passport, documents and initial expenses in Canada. Many employers cover accommodation and, in a number of cases, the flight ticket — this is stated on each job offer.
